Moriah Police Committee

The Town of Moriah Police Committee will hold their Committee Meetings  on the following dates:

  • May 14, 2015
  • August 13, 2015
  • November 12, 2015
All meetings start at 5:30 PM, and are held at the Town Hall.  The public is welcome to attend.

  • 2014
  • Dec., 2013: The Police Department responded to 137 calls, including 2 violation arrests, 2 misdemeanor arrests, issued 19 traffic tickets, and handled 12 traffic accidents.
  • Nov., 2013: The Police Department respnded to 168 calls.  There wer no violation arrests, 4 misdemeanor arrests, no felony arrests, 17 traffic tickets were issued, and 9 traffic accidents investigated.
  • Oct., 2013: The Police Department received 177 calls, and handled 13 violation arrests, 6 misdemeanor arrests, 1 felony arrest, issued 14 traffic tickets, and investigated 4 traffic accidents.
  • Sept., 2013:  The Police Department handled 170 calls for service, of which there were 11 violation arrests, 13 misdemeanor arrests, 13 traffic tickets, and 6 traffic accidents.
  • Aug., 2013: The Police Department handled 181 calls for service, of which there were 7 violation arrests, 10 misdemeanor arrests, 14 traffic tickets, and 4 traffic accidents.
  • July, 2013:
  • June, 2013:  The Police Dept. handled 188 calls for service, of which there were 7 violation arrests, 15 misdemeanor arrests, 4 felony arrests, issued 23 traffic tickets, and handled 5 traffic accidents.
  • May, 2013:  The Police Dept. handled 164 calls for service in May, of which two were violation arrests, seven misdomeanor arrests, issued 17 traffic tickets and handled six traffic accidents.
  • April, 2013
  • Feb., 2013:  The Police Department handled 135 calls for service, of which eight were violation arrests, five misdemeanor arrests, one felony arrest, issued 12 traffic tickets, and handled six traffic accidents.
  • Jan., 2013
  • Dec., 2012: The Police Department had 171 calls for service in December of which they made four violation arrests, four misdemeanor arrests, issued 11 traffic tickets and investigated seven traffic accidents.
