2022 Adirondack Loon Celebration
Join us Sunday, October 9th, for our annual Adirondack Loon Celebration at Paul Smith’s College VIC.
This year the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation is celebrating its 5 year anniversary, and we look forward to having a fun-filled day of celebrating the last 5 years and sharing with you our plans for the next 5 years. Join us for a morning field trip, 2nd annual Hornbeck Boat Raffle, kid’s crafts & activities, silent auction and more. We look forward to seeing you!
Schedule:
9:00am - 12:00 pm: Field trip to visit with the loons (Registration for limited space available for purchase)
1:00-4:30 pm: Visit with Adirondack Loon Center staff and learn about our Adirondack loon research and conservation programs:
- Children’s crafts, games, and activities
- Scavenger Hunt
- Food by Mac’s Mobile Diner available for purchase
- Turn in your Lead Fishing Tackle
1:15-1:45 pm: Loon Calling Contest - Show us your best wails, tremolos, hoots, and yodels to win a prize!
2:00 pm: Learn more about the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation
- Loon-Friendly Lakes recognized
- Lead-Tackle Buy-Back winners announced
- Last chance to get your raffle tickets for the special Hornbeck Loon Canoe! Sales end at at 3:30 pm!
