Ticonderoga Area HalloweenFest 2021

The Ticonderoga Area HalloweenFest starts the day at noon in the Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park gazebo with the 24 Hour Coffin Challenge. This challenge is open to those over 18.  Call Nick or Susan at 518-585-9173 to register before October 20.

Two random entrants will be choses by Sun Community News to compete. Participants must see who can stay in the coffin the longest while facing challenges and trivia. Security will be onsite. Spectators are encouraged, but may not enter the roped off area. A grand prize of a large flat screen TV will be awarded to the winner.

At 5:30 pm the Crown Point State Historic Site will host Haunted Lantern Tours. Cider and doughnuts will be served at 5:30 with the tour beginning at 5:45.  Bring your flashlight and meet outside the museum. You will follow the storyteller around the grounds and hear bone chilling tales of Crown Point.  All ages are welcome.

From 7:30 until 10:00 pm head for the Haunted Trail: LaChute Riverwalk. Enter the trail, if you dare,  at the pocket park next to Ticonderoga Flooring Covering. You will experience haunts and horror along the trail.  Not recommended for anyone under age 10. There is an early exit for those who do not wish to experience the horror part of the trail.  For those brave enough, the trail ends at the Frazier Bridge.
