Penfield Homestead Museum will host their Heritage Day and Annual Chicken Barbecue on Sunday, August 18th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Ecumenical Services at the Penfield Church begin at 9:30 am.
Plan on a Craft Fair including local authors and their books, a Snack Shack for beverages and desserts, Live Music under the pavilion, Wagon Rides with the draft horse team, and of course, the Famous Chicken Barbecue which includes 1/2 chicken, corn, baked potato and roll and butter. Servings are $12 per plate and begin at 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. Only 260 barbecue tickets are available. To purchase tickets, or for information on crafter space, contact 518.597.3804.
