John Brown Farm State Historic Site Virtual Public Information Meeting

 You’re Invited! John Brown Farm State Historic Site Virtual Public Information Meeting

 

The NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, and Adirondack Park Agency are jointly developing a unit management plan for John Brown Farm State Historic Site. Two virtual public information meetings will be held to officially start the planning process and to initiate meaningful public engagement.

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. The second will take place Thursday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. During the online event, staff will provide a brief overview of the Historic Site, the planning process, and seek public ideas for future management of these public lands. Interested participants need only attend one meeting. A meeting information packet and agenda is currently available online at: https://parks.ny.gov/inside-our-agency/master-plans.aspx

Free advanced registration is required to obtain the video and call-in information. Please e-mail JohnBrownFarm.Plan@parks.ny.gov no later than 12 pm, Friday, Feb. 3. to register. A paper copy of meeting presentation materials can be provided upon request. For those unable to attend, the meetings will be recorded and made available online for viewing at a later date.
