This bread-loaf shaped mountain now has easy gradients to reach the top. Enjoy three different views; to the north, up Lake Champlain, to the west a view of the High Peaks inland, and to the south a vista of Lake Champlain which includes the new Champlain Bridge.

1.5 mi RT, moderate, Elevation 1161'

Cheney Mountain Trailhead: Pelfershire Rd (south side) about 1.4 miles off Route 9N/22. Avoid the fenced gate and use the logging road.
