Ticonderoga Festival Guild Summer Concert Series

Ticonderoga Festival Guild Summer Concert Series

The Ticonderoga Festival Guild will hold its Summer Concert Series at 7:00 pm on Tuesdays at the Knights of Columbus Pavilion, behind the Knights of Columbus Hall on Montcalm Street, Ticonderoga.  All concerts are rain or shine.  The schedule of performers is as follows:

July 12: ADK Repertoire Ensemble

The Adirondack Jazz Repertory Ensemble (AJRE) is a customizable group for smaller venues that are interested in Jazz Performances. This could include anything from Trios all the way to Nonets. The AJRE plays all styles of Jazz including Dixieland, Blues, Bebop, Post Bop, Avant Garde, and Modern Jazz.

July 19: The Ruta Beggars

We are thrilled to have The Ruta Beggars return to Ti this year. They infuse traditional bluegrass and early swing to create a timeless act filled with intricate yet smooth vocal harmonies, fiery instrumentals. We loved them last year, don’t miss them this year!

July 26: Little Jack

Featuring members of Get Up Jack, “Little Jack” performs their favorite Irish sing-alongs, together with their favorite rock and country tunes, all in outstanding three-part harmony. You’ll hear songs from the Clancy Brothers and The Dubliners, right along side music from The Eagles, The Beatles, and The Band.

August 2: Rich Ortiz

We welcome Rich back to TI, he is always a favorite. His music is inspired by artists like Jim Croce, James Taylor, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Willie Nelson. He plays six and twelve string acoustic guitar and chooses not to cultivate a target audience. He thinks “ideally the feeling of people who leave the room or listen to your CD should be one of making someone’s day. What comes out of your tongue says a lot about your soul.

August 9: Too Tall String Band

Prepare to hear a sampling of tunes — Celtic, English pub, Adirondack, old-time string band, fiddle, folk, country and bluegrass — along with a good measure of yarns and dumb jokes, all of which can be heard on the band’s new CD, “While We Are Together.”

August 16: Ashley Sophia

Our hometown lady will come home to entertain us! She is a native of the Adirondacks and a successful singer/songwriter, folk artist with a graceful style and original sound. It is very exciting to have her come home from Nashville and play her wonderful music here in Ticonderoga.

August 23: Emish

Emish is an award winning, high-powered Americana folk- roots inspired trio with Celtic influences. For over a decade, these New York natives have thrived as a nationally touring band taking with them their versatile musical background, foot stomping energy, engaging performances and mastery of their instruments. This will be an exciting concert to end our summer season.
