Snowshoe Mammal Tracking
Friends of Poke-O-Moonshine, in collaboration with Champlain Area Trails, are hosting a winter workshop: Snowshoe Mammal Tracking with naturalist, Elizabeth Lee, on Saturday, January 23rd. Meet at 9:30 AM at the Observers’ trailhead at Poke-O-Moonshine. Be ready for 2-3 hours in the cold , following and identifying mammal tracks in the snow. Sign-up is required with a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 12. (Snow- and weather-dependent) Bring a mask and be prepared to physically distance. Food and other articles will not be shared. Dress in non-cotton layers and bring extra clothing, food, hot and cold liquids.
